Game 7 of the 2016 World Series is just starting. It’s been 1 amazing season. I haven’t been to game for a good 5 seasons if not a little more, but this season I went 3 ! We haven’t been to a game at Wrigleyfield in years. This season I was able to go to 3 games. This is one amazing team. So great to see the @Cubs do so well…and now all their hard work has paid off. CHICAGO CUBS ARE IN THE WORLD SERIES !!!!!!!!!!💕💙💗⚾⚾⚾
Wine is fun to pair, but I think Beer/ale/stouts have a bit more fun. This is a great pairing. My mom got me a s'mores cupcake by the amazing @mollyscupcakes Then at @wholefoods before leaving Chicago I got a couple of single bottles of great beer from a giftcard I for last Christmas. @bellsbrewery Special Double Cream Stout is perfect. “10 different specialty malts to impart notes of rich mocha and espresso.” I knew growing up I’d enjoy drinking when it came to food. 1st of all I’d like to say I hope everyone in Florida are able to stay safe.
If all went as planned I should be packing for 4 days in Florida and boarding a plane for the 1st time in roughly 20 years… I had 90% of money I needed to raise to go to my 2nd ACHA adult congenital heart conference. But things went very poorly due to an error from Gofundme and Wepay… After relentlessly fighting to get the money back (thankfully was able to get most of it) …By the time that happened it was too late. I was super pissed off. But…I guess it happened for a reason.
Sadly the horrible weather that’s happening in Florida now…hurricane and all… Many zipper sisters decided to not go …but ACHA just cancelled the entire 4 day conference.
Which sucks …all the planing ACHA put into it and people ready to go… While I was jealous I wasn’t able to go …I am sad to hear it’s being cancelled.
